Hello!

My name is Annamaria Maratona. I live in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona (Scottsdale) and have been breeding Maltese puppies for many years. I love bamboo; I decorate with it, it's on my business cards, and of course, my Web site.

I have just recently had my Web site re-designed to include more information and to make it easier to navigate. I hope you like it! Please take a moment to sign my guestbook and let me know.

Unfortunately, due to an accident, I am disabled. Fortunately, though, I am able to spend all my time with my angels -- my Maltese. They are my friends and companions, my babies, my life. Before my accident, I lost my best friend -- my Dad. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.... and then after my accident I lost my baby Toy Poodle that I had for over 16 years. When she died in my arms, I felt so empty. I prayed, and God sent me an angel in my little Maltese "Honey". She licked all my tears away and I have not been lonely since.

Maltese are covered in long, silky hair -- just like angel's wings. They are so easy to please and so very smart. They have so much love to give! They are very sensitive to your emotions. When you're sad, they know it, and it seems as if they hurt with you. They are there to comfort you when you need it, make you laugh at all their playful antics, and make you smile just by looking at you with their intelligent little faces.

My angels are raised in immaculate conditions. My nursery is comfy and beautiful! All my Maltese puppies are born in a bamboo and wicker canopy bed that was my bedroom set from Thailand. Now it is the babies' nursery. They have a wonderful veterinarian that gives all my angels and their newborn pups the very best in the way of well puppy check-ups and care as my babies grow. I spend a lot of time playing with and loving my babies so that when they come home to live with you, they give you unconditional love. I am very protective of my kids. I try to match them according to your personality and theirs.

All of my babies sleep with me at night; they don't know what a kennel is and never will! I will not sell to kennels or pet stores.

I start beginning potty training and vaccinations at 6 weeks. Potty training is done both inside to puppy pads, and outside, so your little angel will be well on his or her way to being housebroken, regardless of inside or outside restrictions you might have in your living environment. Puppies are given a nutritional diet supplement regimen of Puppy Bee Pollen, Shark's Liver Oil, and Nutri-Cal to give them a head start on good health. All of my parent angels are AKC registered and have been DNA tested, which establishes their purebred heritage and ancestry so you can be sure you're getting a pure Maltese not mixed with any other breed. I only breed and raise Maltese -- no other breed of dog -- and I only breed with Maltese that I have pre-qualified as acceptable, nor do I over-breed my girls. Anna's Heavenly Maltese is not a puppy mill! I work very hard to produce a special baby for you to love. I have never lost a litter, as I devote a lot of time and considerable expense to keeping all my Maltese healthy, giving each puppy born a great start on a long life. Please enjoy my site! God Bless.
